Association Hymn/Choir Sing

Max New was our Associational Music Director and the Music Director at Unity Baptist Church. He lost his life in a sad and tragic accident a few weeks ago. 

Before his death, Bro. Max was in the process of planning an association-wide old-fashioned hymn/choir sing to be held on October 30, 2011 from 5 to 7 pm at Unity Baptist Church in LaGrange.  Our plans are to go ahead with this singing in honor of Brother Max. 

Stephanie Walker, Worship Leader at Creekside Baptist, and Mike Phillips, Worship Leader at Callaway Baptist, have taken over the planning and implementation of this singing. 

If there are any worship leaders who had already talked with Max about your choir participating or about your leading of a congregational hymn, please let us know. 

We want to make this a wonderful night of praise, celebration, and worship of our Savior Jesus Christ and to honor Brother Max New in the process.

All churches are encouraged to move their evening services to the sanctuary at Unity on October 30, 2011 to participate in this association-wide singing that is to honor Max New.
