For some time now the Troup Baptist Association has served as a satellite campus for Faith Bible Institute, a ministry of Rowland Road Baptist Church in Monroe, Louisiana.
As the name indicates, Faith Bible Institute is not a seminary, rather a Bible College. It is geared toward both the pastor and layperson alike. It is great for anybody seeking to deepen their understanding of the Bible.
Each class the student receives an Old Testament, New Testament, and Theology lecture. These lectures are recorded on DVD by the instructor, John Yates, at the main campus in Louisiana. Along with the lectures, students receive a workbook and a Willmington’s Bible Commentary they will work through. In six semesters students will receive lectures through the whole Bible, will read through the whole Bible and Willmington’s Bible Commentary, and will have a set of completed workbooks that will serve as a Bible Commentary for future use.

Upon the successful completion of the course, students receive a Bible College Diploma.
