April 26-29, 2015 is the date we have set aside for an association-wide revival. The venue will be the Associational Missions and Ministry Center located at 1301 Washington Street in LaGrange, Georgia. (Old Southwest LaGrange Baptist Church building) The Sunday evening service will start at 6pm and we are encouraging as many of our churches that will to make this their Sunday evening service. The Monday-Wednesday services will start at 7pm. Stacey Dyer will be the guest speaker each night.
Associational Music Director, Stephanie Walker is in charge of scheduling the music for the revival. We want as many churches as possible to have part in the revival. While our main focus will be congregational singing and choirs, she will be looking for individual talent too. If there has ever been a time in America that we need revival – it is now! So, I encourage you to start bathing this revival in prayer. Pray specifically that the Man of God will have a Word directly from God for His people. Please, pray for old-fashioned, Holy Ghost sent revival to fall during this time. Pray that people will be saved, saints revived, families restored, and that we will literally experience a revival that will change the direction of Troup County Georgia!
If revival is to come, it has to start somewhere. Why not here? Why not now?
