LOVE THOSE IMPACTED BY HURRICANE HELENE

When our neighbors hurt, we respond. In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, your Georgia neighbors are in need of friends to help their churches and communities recover while sharing the hope of Christ.

You can give financially to help Mission Georgia, Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief, and our partners respond.

100% of the donations will go toward that effort.

UPCOMING EVENTS & MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

October 18 through November 27

Please consider joining a 40-Day period of fasting and praying for our Country beginning October 18 and continuing through November 27.

This will be a time of seeking the Lord in humility and repentance for an outpouring of His grace, mercy and power on our country and the world.

We ask that you gather church members and friends who would take one or two of the 24-hour periods (sunset to sunset) during this time so that we have someone in our Association praying and fasting at all times during these 40 days.

VOTE in 2024.

We want to encourage each of you to exercise your right — as a faith-filled and faithful citizen — to vote in 2024.

Find information on the issues with a Biblical perspective below: MYFAITHVOTES.ORG

An estimated 25 million Christians who are registered to vote, fail to vote in presidential elections. My Faith Votes is on a mission to change this statistic by helping Christians act on their faith and vote in every election. When we pray unceasingly for our nation, think biblically about the issues, and vote consistently in every election the impact of Christians taking action from the local to the state and federal level will be unprecedented.

PRAY.

As a Christian, PRAY faithfully for your country, its leaders, and fellow citizens.

THINK.

THINK. Be diligent and biblically informed, not media driven on the cultural issues of our day.

VOTE.

As citizens, be a good steward of your citizenship and cast your VOTE. Make sure you are registered today.

We are dedicated to helping one another thrive in fulfill our calling.

We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. – 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13

In my article this month, I want to give you some “creative” or “other” ways to let your Pastor and staff know that you truly appreciate them in October and beyond. These are things that you can do on a regular basis to help your pastor maintain his spiritual, mental and emotional strength as he serves you.

Great week at camp! Watch the video below!

This year we had 14 children give their lives to Jesus Christ as the campers were encouraged to “STAND OUT” by living Romans 12:2 which says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

PRAY FOR OUR SCHOOLS

It’s a privilege as believers to pray for the schools in our community. We invite you to join with the TBA Churches in praying daily for our school system.

Pray for our students and their families.

Pray for our Board members, administrators, teachers, para-pros, assistants, substitute teachers, custodians, SRO’s, bus drivers, and bus monitors.

Let’s be faithful to cover our schools in prayer.
