Bro. Andy Buchanan became the AMS of Troup Baptist Assocition on March 1, 2022. He had previously served in the TBA at Franklin Road Baptist Church as Senior Pastor since 2008. Prior to moving back to Lagrange, Georgia, where he grew up, he served at Calvary Baptist Church in Garland, TX as Student Pastor (1991-2000) and Senior Pastor (2004-2008). He is graduate of LaGrange College (BA Religion ’89) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDivBL ’97).
He married his college sweetheart, Kim Bowen Buchanan, in 1989 and they have been happily married for nearly 34 years. Bro Andy and Kim are “empty nesters” with two grown sons, Dallas (Gospel Partners Media) and Caleb (Myers & Stauffer, Inc).
Bro Andy is a techy but mostly enjoys the spending time with family, playing golf, and photography, and visiting Maggie Valley, NC in the Smokey Mountains.
